Zaha Hadid expo

Finally the pavillon of Zaha Hadid for Chanel, has been constructed in the courtyard of Institut du Monde Arabe, in Paris. This pavillion is become an exhibition space for the recent project of Zaha Hadid Architects Agency.

With a friend of mine, we visited this pretty pavillion yesterday.

Workshop: Consrtuction Barrée

This is our workshop on the subject of construction barrée, and to build a TABLE from this point of view. So, our group decided to start the concept, by identifying construction barrée. We came to this conclusion that construction barrée is kind of construction by manipulating certain factors, like scale, horizontality, function, logic , and direction.

So, we decided to construct from deconstruction. Deconstruction like Matta Clarck, but to construct after.
We decided a table, a part of floor, to be forced up and rotated, upside down, and the floor bottom to become the top of this table.
There is no scale available in this model, could be an interior space, with no curves, and also an exterior space, a public space, with climb down to a smooth accelerating space, but by means of this urban table, could be barred against passing through, without pause.
It could be a space of negociation, interrogation, or just space of wait and rest.

Brutal-minimal stairs

H&M big shop in Champs Elysées has been opened the doors to public. Designed by French Architect Jean Nouvel, the interior architecture is minimal, by use of steel elements and moving advertising screens inside the building.

Here is the stairs that I was interested in. Simple steel, and the hole-line into the walls both side.

Atelier

The ateliers in school of architecture are amazing. Because there are different. This one has small windows. The ambiance of the light coming inside is very delicate.
