Working hard! Still alive

These days I'm always in library of school, reading and squissing and drawing ... and thinking !

Now, on 18:29 of 16 November, sth came to my mind as a concept of my project. How ever, this spiritual-prophetal situation is familiar for the architects, and maybe in ten minutes, I would have another experience like this :D

11 November : Remembrance day

11 November is holiday in France. This is the end of World War 1 in 1918. And also in this date, after te liberation of North of France by help of English army, Winston Churchill participated in the millitary march with Charles De Gaulle in avenue des Champs Élysées in 1944.

Every year on 11 November, there is a military march in Champs Élysées until the Arc de Triumph in Paris.

I was there with my mom, for shopping. We passed by the march and I took a picture.

Brutal-minimal stairs

H&M big shop in Champs Elysées has been opened the doors to public. Designed by French Architect Jean Nouvel, the interior architecture is minimal, by use of steel elements and moving advertising screens inside the building.

Here is the stairs that I was interested in. Simple steel, and the hole-line into the walls both side.

Bus 89 Luxembourg

Every day, I take the bus number 89 to go to school. There is a bus stop, right in front of my house. Today I came  down the street, to buy a pain au raisin near Luxembourg park, and then I took the bus from that station. The view from bus's front door was wonderful. View to Pantheon.

Atelier

The ateliers in school of architecture are amazing. Because there are different. This one has small windows. The ambiance of the light coming inside is very delicate.

Wooden Woody Allen

Yesterday I was walking on Rivoli street. in front of Musée du Louvre, I was suddenly impressed by the window of an art gallery, with wooden statue of Woody Allen.
Made by orange colored pieces of wood, in 3dimentions, the portrait statue attracted the tourists to the shop window.
So I took a picture :)
Hello Woody Allen !

And so, his propostition to name the year 2001, the year of Dialogue Among Civilizations, to help the nations to know each other and to secure the world with international peace.

Infinite Virtual Space Installation

We had a workshop at the begining of this year in school of architecture. The workshop was about the theme of Space. Each group of 5 students ( from 1st year student to 5th) must have discuss the subject and make a model or installation at the end.

Our installation was a projection of an animation, in a virtual space, which the person who want to watch this, is situated inside the whole virtual space.

The boxes with mirrors on the side, make the reproduction of the images infinitely. And we had visible image on the both sides of the front side of the boxes.

Different  boxes with differet height and dimensions, represented the individual perceptions of us.

This was about the person inside the virtual projected space, and to show the infinite space in the mirrors.

France National Library

BNF is near my school of architecture. I have a student membership card, 18€ per year, and unlimited access and entrance.
Really a place which persuades students to continue their studies up to PhD :)

Beatles CD cabine

In Virgin Mega Store of Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, I found a very subtile CD decorative container, designed for Beatles full master pieces CDs and DVDs package.

Concepted by the English typical classical phone cabinet.
